He is a person who doesnt look like his actual inner self , i.e., Fearless, giving back tit for tat, mentally tough and aristocratic. In fact he is exactly the opposite of what he looks.
He does deserve the credit for building a team for the future and to have made it to the finals.
But he seems to lack that tactical genius/inner confidence of a Tiger Pataudi/ Mike Brearly.
He is not going anywhere till he lifts the next world cup.
This Indian team is going to give the Aussies and other team a run for their money in the coming years..........just because they choked in the finals. They are going to gain immensely from that loss.
And Yes I feel Batting first would have been a repeat of the first game. Everyone was tense...though they were putting up a brave front.....so batters wouldn’t have done any better.
