Let explain one thing clearly first: I am not against
ganguly as a player or a batsman or a captain per se. But,
now let me explain the butts:
- A captain is not supposed to wave off his shirt in glee
whatever the occasion, he’s supposed to wave off the
bad jinxes and forms team players and the unit
encounters. A captain is always expected to lead from
the front and as a batsman if one is not in good form
its better to step down and take some rest rather than
keep encountering criticisms, he didnt do this, he
didnt do that
- On the field, a captain is supposed to continuously
motivate the players. On the contrary we see sachin
and dravid doing this while the ganguly in the gully
maintains a glum face when a bowler is hit for a six
and a half smile when a batsman hits a four. Not good.
- Scoring a couple of centuries against minnows is not
good enough, we need knocks from him against good
teams like australia, new zealand and like wise, where
he will prove his ability as a good left handed
batsman he is and im sure as a captain or without that
cap, he is a good batsman.
- A word of advice, please stop doing so many ads and
concentrate on the game instead. All this hoopla and
hype is making money for the players, the team and
the cap, but doing more harm to the nation than any
good. Another precedent for the cap to set instead of
shouting ’’ oh my god...sher’’ (dont ride the tiger,
get down and get going, this country will remember
you all always)
