Dear all,
My following points wud be ample evidence as to why Mr Saurav Ganguly could well go down in the Indian Cricketing History as one of the most successful Indian cricketer of all times.
1) Ganguly is a very aggressive captain unlike most Indian captains and players, he totally contemplates on the oppositions psyche and acts accordingly to the situation.
2) He is a man for the youngsters and its largely due to him, the young brigade has shone so brightly for the country. He is a firm believer of dedication and perseverance.
3) He is a captain who leads by example, for example he equally adapted well at the No.3 batsman when the Indian tean an equally aggressive BAT at No.3 after taking over from TWO of the fierest batsmen in the form of Tendulkar and Sehwag. That itself takes great courage to face the mettle and he adapted quite well at it during the world cup 2003 by scoring 3 centuries. Although his critics wud be fast to argue that all his tons came against NON test playing nations, the runs scored were indeed match winning runs and he remained the 2nd top scorer of the World Cup only second to the Little Master Sachin Tendulkar himself.
4) Ganguly remains a very successful captain and he needs support indeed from all of his fellow countrymen, after all his men reached the final of a World Cup after 20 years...God Bless You DADA, May your tribe increase.....
