He stands up and supports the youngsters ably. His support and encouragement has helped them to play well & its results can be seen in the present ODI series with Sl & ENG.
Ganguly, ever since taking up the mantle of Captaincy has done Well in ODI’s and O.K in Tests. The rapping he gets from the media is sometimes uncalled keeping in mind that he carries the expectations of almost 700 million Indians, inside and outside the country.
His efforts have paid of in building a good team and setting sights on the World Cup in 2003. Hopefully India will do well.
