I do agree that the present Indian Cricket team gets more importance than it deserves.
Not so long ago we had the cricket world hit by the shameful scam of fixing matches for money; remember Azaruddin, Prabhakar et all?
Are we Indians a bit naive in deifying these cricketers ? Please think about it.
We should boycott everything related to cricket and believe me if most of us do this most of the ills afflicting Indian cricket will be cured because no corporate would want to use their services for advertising their products and less money flowing into their kitty will wake up BCCI to set their house in order. You know money talks; right now more money in the game is causing the ills highlighted by VINAYAKTHE GREAT.
While Saurav has contributed to Indian cricket considerably in the past, I guess one should know when to call it a day. It is best done when people ask WHY? rather than when People say ’’WHY NOT?’’
