I recently hired SAVAARI cab for my ride to Haldwani. At the completion of the i forgot an item in the car and within an hour contacted the driver about the item. The driver confirmed that the item was with him, but said he is in another ride and therefore wont be able to return now. Later he stopped responding to my messages and calls. I contacted SAVAARI cabs customer care, who were very unprofessional and rude and were unwilling to help. I escalated the issue to their nodal grievance cell, who finally responded and gave an assurance the driver would call back, despite realizing the amount of inconvenience caused, the respnse from the grievances head Mr. Manik Shah, was unapologetic and he insisted that I should pay for the courier charges, which in any case I would have paid, but i was expecting better respnse from the nodal head. This highlights their unprofessional ethics. The driver Mr. Neeshu demanded RS.700 as bike courier charges which is very high, so I had to arrange for pickup myself. The whole episode shows how hollow the companys claims are about the quality of service.
