I booked a round trip from Bangalore to Mysore from 7am for a full day. The driver called me at 07:17 and arrived at 07:30. I ignored this delay as it was a leisure trip. Everything went well except the ending. We arrived at 10:15pm and when I asked for bill, after struggling for some time the driver with my help sent an sms to the company to get the bill.
I noticed some extra charges and on checking with the driver was told that 250rs have been charged as night time charges as we were late by 15 minutes from the day travel time till 10pm. I decided to call customer care as I thought the drivers 30 minute late arrival in the morning pick up should compensate for 15 minutes late arrival.
I had to call these guys numerous times as they were frequently disconnecting the calls. I had to spend 1 hour debating and telling these guys why I should not be overcharged. After so many calls and discussions with their head office and their Bangalore team, came the verdict that I have too pay extra even if I am 1 minute late regardless that the driver came 30 minutes late for the pick up .
