Wonderfully Brilliant Movie!!

This movie was the first movie I had seen in a theatre since my daughter was born. I was very excited because since I’m only 18, this sort of a movie really interested me. I was so phsyced!! I am glad this lived up to my expectations, actually bypassed them!!

This start out with a little beforehand of the girl in the movie. <Played by Julia Stiles> Then it goes on to where she moves to New York. This movie shows how hard moving can be and how much a big city can change you. More importantly it switches minority roles. Here is an all white girl going to an almost all black school.

She is forced to fit in and find herself. She has to triumph above all prejudices to hold onto love. This was a remarkably brilliant plot and the acting was magnificent. Well worht my money and I would actually rent it again.

The soundtrack to this is awesome. It includes rap and R&b tracks by artists like Jill Scott and Ice Cube. The titles of the songs range from ’’True Colors’’ to ’’You Can Do It’’
