I repeat, if any of you has doubts on the worth of living, SAW and its sequel SAW 2 have the answers ready for you.
SAW-Its an out-an-out thriller , intensely macabre in content and sequences;its gore to the core, has a cleverly manipulated plot and is a very twisty and scary psychopathic thriller that keeps you to the edge of your seat till the end of it........but WHAT makes it stand out from the other movies of this flavour is the intensely haunting theme of its story......keep your eyes open and you see SAW, but keep your mind open as well to appreciate the novelty of the plot........heres a horror thriller with a difference-it warns you of not appreciating your life......it tells you how not to take life for granted......not in clear didactic terms but with the gory details of a gruesome storyline.........
The movie begins with two men waking up to find themselves in chains at separate ends of a dirty bathroom and a dead body lying between them.....A dictaphone beside tells them What to do to break free from their chains! If one of them kills the other, that one will be free to live the life which seems so suspended at the moment.
To top it all, this is a game played by a psychotic genius under the nickname jigsaw who presents the essential question to the contestants of his game-how much blood are you willing to shed for your life?
The movie revolves around the two men and many other characters who are in some way related to the whole game, out of their helplessness or utter ignorance of the entire scheme....
SAW 2- the sequel is as gripping as its predecessor.........perhaps a lot more gore.......and a little less mysterious......because the invincible jigsawcomes out in the open and proclaims an open war with the world that takes life too much for granted....
Again, nothing happens out of the blue......theres purpose for everything.......
In SAW 2, we come across a group of people trapped in a dingy room. They are in for a cat-and-mouse game where some of them lose their life in a bid to save it.....and that too in the most appalling manner..........the deadline is, unless they get out of the place, they are in danger of breathing a deadly gas which kills them through every minute of their continuous stay...........
If you have seen the first movie theres no way you would like to miss its sequel.
Both the movies excel in their gripping narrative and the unpredictable climax sequences.Among the star cast theres none worthy of mentioning in the two movies.Overall, good performance is being rendered by the actors.
Shell out a few quid for good movies like this and you wouldnt mind.Your day is made........
