I’ve applied Home loan from SBI. SBI sales executive came to my address and filled application form and collected all required document. Person gave me real time status of Loan status. Completely felt like taking loan from Pvt sector bank.

Problem: for verification, 3rd party executive came at home and took all information and asked for "Chai Pani" / Bribe. I didnt give single amount as my profile is good( 800+ score) and no other loan on my name.
after his verification, got message: application rejected due to Non-Contactable.
SBI Sales employee doing hard work to process loan file but a 3rd party came and gave wrong feedback/comments in their as they didnt get anything from me.
We are in digital era, however bribe and un-ethical still in our system hence people avoid Govt banks.
I’ve a backup of HDFC bank loan as well and pre approved loan from ICICI bank too. Looks like, I’ll never get Govt bank service due to their behavior.
