I am a frustrated SBI card holder. One of their agents pleaded with me to take the card as he will get a commission and said that it is a free card. I made a mistake by helping that guy. I am being asked to pay for a card that I have never ever used. They have charged annual fee(for a free card) and kept adding late payment fee and kept accumulating interest on top of it and asking me to pay Rs 3500 now. I called the customer service and asked them to cancel the card long back when the annual fee was charged, they took the request but nothing has been done. When I ask that about the transaction details done in the card, they dont have the information. They have issued a notice to me to make a payment to avoid legal actions.
The kind of service that I get from my ICICI and CITIBANK cards are far more superior. I thought SBI as a brand had a good reputation, I wanted to open a NRE account with them, now I have burnt my fingers and learnt my lessons, I will share my lessons learnt with my friends and relatives.
