Even after I had read some bad experiences in mouthshut.com, I did not realise until I burnt my own fingers. First their executive came to me saying that it is a lifetime free card offering great services like 0% on balance transfer, 0%fees for taking a DD of 10000/-, etc. I fell for the trap and now in a fix. My bill came to me within 1 week of receiving My card, it said 4500/- balance to be paid even though I had yet to tear my Pin no or even thought of using it. They charged me an annual fee of Rs 570/- and they decided to pay my Health insuarance premiums in installments so as to benefit them by Rs1000/-. I immediately put a request for cancellation of my card and they immediately cancelled and blocked my card.
From there on their illiterate executives started frustrating me saying that the balance on my card is 3000, 4000, 5000, etc and they didn’t know that I had cancelled my card. I received around 10calls in 2 days from different executives asking the same questions and they did not even know why the card was cancelled/blocked. I decided not to pay the outstanding amount rather than giving a chance to some silly executive who doesn’t even know English to ask me questions for their faults. I hope to get out of this soon.
