I have offered Life time free SBI Credit card on phone. I accept the same and then after 2 days I filled the form and handover all the document to their Executive. Then I received the verification call. And the truth behind reveal for offering Lifetime Free credit card, which says that First I have to pay Rs 500 plus service tax, which will be waived off if I have certain minimum billing within specified period. And the same is continue for every year. The minimum billing is 30000 from 2nd year onward.
I denied and ask them to not to process the card.
After that I start receiving the calls from Ms( I dont want to disclose the name of that silly lady, who has not learnt from her parent how to talk) by a no 911457. I denied every time. Then at the last she told that its at least free for one year and after that waived from next year for a minimum billing of 30000/-. I make up my mind to accept the same and told her to send the person along with undertaking. The person came with the undertaking which says that the minimum spent is 75000/- from next year. I strongly denied as I got the false statement everytime, and send back the person.
Now after that, I received a call from the same lady saying that I used the card for one year and surrender the same to SBI for one year.
What a pathetic idea of pitching the sale. SBI executive cutting the leg of their own chair. I denied. The lady told me very abusively by using few rough language like Sa*, etc.
If any one of SBI card team has ever read this review, please let your sales person trained to talk to people. One dissatisfied person will make 10 person to discontinue or not to go with SBI card.
I have already send the mail to SBI grievance cell with the name of that lady, to learn a lesson on telephonic conversation with customers.
