This is a government bank service delivered by GE in India.
This is the worst credit card if you get a call better don’t apply for it.
I can give some false claim they make for SBI gold credit card:
Claim 1) The joining fee will be waived off if you do purchase on INR 2000.00 in first two months.
Fact :- If you do a purchase of INR 2000.00 in first two month you will get 2000 reward point equal to INR 500 which you have to call customer care and claim it for return which will cost you at least INR 50 on phone bill and it will be a short of reimbursement.
Claim 2) There will be no annual fee from second year and for first year if you satisfy any of theses 3 criteria then annual fee will be waived off .
a) Purchasing of INR 75000.00.
b) Purchase of INR 20000.00.
c) No late payment.
Fact:
1) 75K is there general rule.
2) On 20 K spent you can once again reclaim your points for annual fee so no benefit.
3) This is actually not applicable.
Claim 3 :-
You can make payment of other bank credit card due with this card for free at no interest for next 60 days.
Fact :- Ya there is no interest but they will charge you a processing fee which they don’t disclose while offering card.
So better avoid SBI credit card, as even if they reject your application they will call it their pvt information and they can’t disclose that.
A great bank but fake credit card service that will ruin the reputation of banking service too.
