SBI card is one of the best. In those days of free card I start with HSBC but after couple of month I vowed I won’t use it again as they took three months to send the bill statement along with fine for usage of card in the first month when I called up they said they will deduct the amount once I paid up the amount. I paid the amount minus the late fee which was not my fault.
They kept harassing me for over 2 years for the late fee payment I did whatever I can but no avial I let it go as by that time I didn’t need the card. Same with city bank but I got wiser with HSBC experience and promptly paid the amount after first month without statement. but they were lot of hiden charges which I never asked for. SO I stopped using that
Then I started with SBI from the first month onward I got the bills promptly clearly stating all the charges no hidden cost. though they did charge me annual fee after one year but when I told them that I was told my card is free lifetime card they asked me to pay up the amount and the same will be revertback to my account the next month which was also done promptly. The customer service is better too one need explaining all the story again and agian to each of the customer service representative who comes on phone. They are polite and most importantly the problem is always solved. I am happy with the card.
