I have now been holding the SBI Credit card for last 4 months and I can tell you IT HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I have held Citibank Credit Card for last 7 Years and never faced any issues like I have with SBI.
The Billing statement is a nightmare, which is completely riddled with wrong debits and double charges. For e.g. I had taken a Flexi-pay option, so the Principal amount should be reduced from the statement & only EMI should be charged, right? But SBI Credit Card has charged a Debit for the entire Principal amount+ EMI+ Interest in advance for the entire 12 months of Flexi-pay upfront!
Also I had availed a Balance Transfer facility with 60 days 0% interest. However when I made my payment on past outstanding due, it credited the amount against Balance Transfer availed and kept my past statement’s outstanding is due and charged interest in next statement!
WORST IS TRYING TO REACH A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE. They dont have a 24x7 call centre like Most reputed Banks & you have to wait 20 minutes to get hold of some representative.
It has been 25 days since I reported my issue which remains un-resolved.
SO PLEASE IF YOU DONT WANT HASSLE’S AND HEARTBURN.AVOID-AVOID-AVOID SBI CREDIT CARD!
