When the Product is styled and designated as ATM-CUM-DEBIT CARD, why call it a Credit Card. The SBI Card is related to your balance lying at your credit, and you can draw money from any SBI ATM in India. The good thing about this Card is that it is given to you without any hastles just for the asking. Thats how I had got it. It has the imprint of Mastero, whatever that may mean.
The range of Services ( Domestic ) are :
Transactions at SBI Groups Networked ATMs, numbering over 1000.
Cash Withdrawals - Minimium of Rs.100/- and maximum of Rs.10, 000/- per day.
Transactions at 3000 ATMs owned by other Banks.
Range of Services ( International ):
The Card Holder fulfils and abide by the Guidelines issuied by the Reserve Bank of India and the Foreign Exchange Management Act. The limit per transaction is US$ 300 in ATMs and US$ 500 or its equivalent , depending on the Currency in use at various ATMs.
The SBI Card is unlike the American Express or the Citibank Card, which does not bother whether you have an account with it. I used to use the Amex Card to buy international Airline tickets and pay back in easy instalments over a period of time with a small interest.
However, with all said and done, the SBI Card is your companion, specially when the Puja and Deepavali arfe round the corner and Christmas is not far. Enjoy your festive season with the SBI Card. HAPPY BUYING.
