I have had this card for some years now and have used it occasionally. Recently I was not mailed a hard copy of my statement nor a e mail copy of the same. Realising this I called the help line and was informed that there was no outstanding due, although I knew there was one due. They insisted I will be billed for all dues in the next months statement. I reconfirmed this on 2 occasions with the help line.
Then after the due date was passed I started getting demanding calls for payment. Inspite of explaining the situation to the card payment section. This was irritating as I have never defaulted on a card payment. Out of frustration, as no one was listening I paid up all my dues 3 weeks in advance and asked them to cancel my card as I could not deal with an immatured service provider. Also a point to note is that all credit card companies have made redeming points more difficult.
More points for a advertised product. On top of that, your points expire without you being informed !! SBI card is a no no.
I had redeemed my SBI Credit card points for Coffee day coupons. I got 4 coupons for the number of points I had redeemed. They are not accepted at most Coffee Day outlets. Excuse is that the coupons are invalid. I made a complaint to both SBI and Coffee Day. Neither of them have responded to correct the situtation.
