As it always happen to many, I also went for SBI card due to the hype and the brand name SBI and rest is agony and head ache. Due to TINA (There is no (better)alternative) I also continued to use this card for the past few years. What way of rewarding the long standing customer. If you are a regular customer/card holder take it: increase in annual fee ., (Annual bonus: increase of Rs.250/- to even basic card) and you switch over from some other credit card, you can have life time free card. Quite funny and strange way of reward for loyalists. I am unable to log in to the SBI site for the past two three months and you contact the so called 24 hour help line, the reply is funny and you never knew when you can log in to the site. There is also a provision where you can give your complaint through mail and the mail never reaches the concerned and almost all those in the help desk are helpless and almost always apologistic. The funniest part of the card is reward points. You spend 10000/- rupees and you will get 10% off on few casettes and CDs which you never going to purchase. But in one way they are the fastest and the best : that is when it comes to levy penalty and sending your bills. Long live SBI card. The moral of the story is dont go by brand name, 24 hour help line etc.
