We had an sbi credit card around 6 years back. We closed it after a year of usage. Still SBI is sending us late payment charges! and statements!
Few months back, we got a call asking us to throw the card and they will close. But now again they are asking for some 6k as payment! A real headache for using the card for a few months! That too they arent’ listening to any clarifications we are making.
I cant’ think of any pros with SBI, only cons:
Horrible - worse - irritating customer care
Bad locations of Credit Card Cheque Drop boxes. Trust me there will never be anything close to your house. If it’s there, it will soon be shifted and their website will not be updated with it.
the internet login will not show anything and at times show someone elses card details. So much for the privacy policy.
Like private banks, their customer care is filled with the worst people. may be someone who had previous experience in paisa vassool or something.
They wont’ ever reverse late payment charges even if you have dropped a cheque very much in advance and they encash it late. it’s still your fault!
I could go on and on .. but hope this describes how horrible these people are!
NEVER GO FOR SBI CREDIT CARDS!
GO FOR ANY PRIVATE BANKING CREDIT CARDS WHICH OFFERS MUCH BETTER FEATURES AND SERVICES.
And for the punch line - "Make Life Simple" - it actually means - make your life complex and they take out all money from you - all for not using the card!!!
