I heard a lot about SBI card about their discounts on various purchase. I was keen to have it. One day I got call from a lady about Life Time Free SBI Card. I said yes to her. Sales guy came to me and got the form filled.
After somedays , I got a post-mail from SBI stating "We regret, we are unable to process your application as on now...", Surprisingly on the same day I got an SMS stating "Your application for SBI Card has been approved ..!!! ". I don’t know what kind of co-ordination they have between approval and rejection department.
Then after somedays , I got a call from SBI Life insurance, they said "You’ll get insurance cover of 6L rs. along with ur SBI Card for that u need to pay premium of only 50 rs p.m. , would u be intrested?" I straight forward said NO I don’t want.
On 2nd October I got a letter that Ur card has been dispatched and u’ll be receiving it within 7 days. But my godness, still now(31st October) I haven’t received my card. Yea, one thing for sure though I got my card’s first statement 2-3 days back. Statement without having credit card ??? Its ok...but I found rs. 50 in my payable amount...they cheaters subscribed me for their Life insurance plan...Bloody I never ever think of taking an insurance and they subscribed me in the insurance scheme even I said no to it earlier.
I called their CC and asked him to suspend my subscription. I said I m not gonna give amount for insurance premium which is there in the statement, they said "I m cancelling ur subscription but U have to give the premium which is there in statement" ...What the hell is this? what kind of Customer Service they have? had it been some private bank they would have said "no need to give the premium".
And another thing they have set the Credit Limit for the Card 10, 000/- rs. What I will purchase with this ’Chiller’ amount ?
Still I m waiting for my card...But I m not gonna pay the premium, If possible I’ll write to Delhi office too.
So, guys be careful while applying for SBI Harassment Card...
