This is first complant on SBI Credit Card. I’m using SBI Credit card for the past 3 years. It is free and also there is no major problems until I settle all the due every month before the due date. However, its service is not good.
In sending monthly bills, they use to take 10-15 days for sending the bill by post or at-least one week to deliver e-statement.
Also, recently I came to know their BRAINY TRICK in reward points. I noticed my reward points are not at all grown. When I searched their website, it mentions that the points will lapsed if not rewarded for two years. I asked their customer service peoples to know which date is the first day for the reward points to calculate the first day. After four remainders every week they replied that the first day of purchase is the day one for the lapse of reward points. They I had checked all my statements, it is a TRICK of SBI to keep the reward points stagnant. You will earn points this month but you loose points what you earned before 2 years. So, your points wont grow and you cant redeem points. This is a BRAINY TRICK TO CHEAT A CUSTOMER like some private banks. SBI also does the same.
This is my second compliant on SBI Credit Card online Transaction:
I had booked an online train ticket in IRCTC.CO.IN using my SBI’s VISA credit card. And I had cancelled two passengers from that. According to irctc website and also their email reply, they said the amount was refunded to my credit card account. I wrote many email to SBI. There is no reply. But they had called me and said, they didnt received the amount. I had sent some 5 emails, but no reply for any mail. If they send the mail, that itself a proof for their malpractices.
At the same time, IRCTC has given the transaction number, refund number, date everything.
When IRCTC gave all details, SBI doent even reply for any mail. Finally, my money is gone. IRCTC has refunded. SBI didnt received. Then where my money went. This is second time with SBI credit card. SBI cheating its customers.
