I have been using SBI CC for the last 2 years. It is a very useful in all respect except balance transfer item. They are sending the balance transfer cheques on only Gurgaon /Delhi Branch clearing which cause a delay for clearance as it is an outstanding cheque for Kolkata base card. A charge is accounted for the out station cheque which causes an extra expenses to customer but please note that the other Banks are issuing balance transfer cheques are on any branch clearing cheques which takes only two / three days for clearing. Please note that I dropped a balance transfer cheque from SBI CARD to HDFC Bank on 20 th, the due date was 25th and it took 10 days time to clear and it was cleared on 30th causing a penalty of credit card delayed payment and a also a charge deducted for the out station clearing. so my request to everybody please think twice for accepting balance transfer cheque from SBI CARD.
