Please do not take a credit card from SBI. It is a genuine advice. Let me tell you a short review. I received a call in the month of April 2010 from the SBI card for offering me a credit card. I promptly submitted all the documents to the SBI representative. After that till May 2010 I did not receive any call or mail from them then some one from the call centre called by the end of May 2010 that you will receive the credit card.
Initially they sent me a Statement of Rs 551.50 as joining fees. I paid the joing fees billed on 02/06/2010 as on statement receipt. I received a statement confirming the receipt of the payment on 15 June 2010. Since then I have sent 4 emails asking them to send the credit card. Today it is 26 July 2010 and still there is no sign of credit card. In between I just get calls from the call centre reconfirming my office address and lying around that you will receive the credit card shortly but still no credit card is received. SBI credit cards is just using customers money without any reason. I feel cheated now. This was not expected at least from SBI.
Better avoid them!!
