“Scary Movie”- R
When, in the opening scene, Carmen Electra is running from a masked man in her bra and undies, I had a feeling I knew how this movie was going to be. I was pretty much on target about that! If you saw any of the “Scream” movies, “The 6th Sense” or “I Know What You Did Last Summer” you’ll be able to understand what this movie is about. The whole movie is a spoof on these and other films.
I will admit that some parts of this movie were pretty funny. When Marlon Wayans was playing the part of the young boy in “The 6th Sense, ” you just have to laugh. But, needless to say, there was no original plot, nor point to this movie.
Shawn Wayans also starred and co-wrote this story with Marlon. The direction was done by their other brother, Keenan Ivory Wayans. Cheri Oteri from “SNL” also starred.
WARNING Some parts of this film were extremely sexually explicit.
This review is not very long, frankly, because there wasn’t much to tell. And the more I would tell you the more it would give away the whole movie.
Well, you guessed it; I would not recommend this movie!
