An epic retold with a different perspective!

Scion of Ikshvaku tells the well-known story of Ramayana in a novel way. But frankly speaking, I don’t see the need rewrite an epic which is more than perfect. Amish Tripathi who was fabulous in his’Immortals of Meluha’ fails to recreate the magic in’Scion of Ikshvaku’.

The characters of the book are borrowed from Ramayana and with his imagination and some good marketing, he manages to catch the attention of the book lovers of the country. But I find the book as nothing more than a brutal murder of Hindu Mythology. In an attempt to retell the great epic, Amish Triptathi fails miserably by adding his own moderation and revisions.
