Scotland Yard is an exciting detective board game which can be enjoyed by both youngsters and adults. It can be played by a maximum of six players and a minimum of three. This is a game which is played without a dice.
There are five differently coloured pawns, one for each detective. The five detectives move frantically around the board-- jumping from taxi to taxi-- trying to catch the ‘invisible’ Mr X. Mr. X is the criminal. The person who is playing as ‘Mr. X’ must be very cautious and think twice before he makes his move. Everyone who plays the game loves being the criminal.
This game is something which is different from the usual board games like monopoly and pictionary. It is a very thrilling game, but it sure is annoying when the criminal slips out of your grasp at the crucial moment!
The only disadvantage is the amount of preparation needed before playing the game. Distributing the bus tickets, taxi tickets underground tickets is borrrring!!
What is nicer than playing Scotland Yard indoors over a hot mug of sweet coffee and some cookies on a rainy day?
