I visited Goa along with my hubby to celebrate new year eve.
We both travelled by sleeper coach bus from Sea Bird travels. Now today, when I returned back from my trip, more than the beauties of Goa and the enjoyment we had in beaches, the bus travel created an impression in me.
If I think of Goa, now I think of the bus we travelled. So I thought, I should describe the wonderful and dramatic experiences we had with this travels.
The bus is a sleeper coach with some sleeper berths and some seats. The bus is not Volvo so it was very slow. While going to Goa, the tyre got punctured and we were late by more than 4 hours. The bus is very old and slow and no proper pick up.
While coming back, it was more horrible experience. The bus driver took more people in board who will get down at near by places by charging 10 rs and 15 rs so bus was too crowdy and the path way was full of these temporary passengers.
The driver was too rash and used to put sudden breaks that though we are on sleeper berth, we could’t sleep and always we have to hold tight.
They did double booking for maximum number of seats and passengers were handled very roughly when questioned. People were asked to share the berth and seat with some one for whom they have done a dobule booking.
All together it was horrifying experience. They charged huge money also quoting its season.
I recommend people not to travel by private travels like this. the government Volvos are far better and they don’t stop in between or board passengers like these private operators do
