I ordered two seagate backup plus drives in 2TB version in two different colors
I went on a trip with both under my elbow.
Plugged into an Asus UX31 USB 3 both drives are well recognized as two different units and there I am happy(those who had WD understand what Im talking about). The disks work well and Im happy.
Then one night I go down 25GB of photos on one of the two discs, I check that the photos are copied and I erase on the SD card of my SLR. The computer returns to hibernation. Im coming back, Im taking out the hibernation computer. I unplug the discs.
I reboote and I plug the discs and thats the drama. I have one of the two drives that gets the id of the other drive and that erases all the folders. Obviously youll understand it is the one on which all the photos were. Lost my three weeks immortalized vacation. I am green! Fortunately Seagate calls them Backup Plus!
