how to get warranty!:)
you must go for it guys.it covers 3 years seagate india warranty!
by reading previous reviews it was clear that a lot of guys having warranty registering issues.so here is the right way to register -
Step 1- plug your hard drive to your computers USB and turn ON your internet .
Step 2- register your hard drive by the "setup" application provided in your hard drive already by seagate.
Step 3- by opening "setup", a web browser window will pop out .(your internet connection must be on before this step),
Step 4- now this browser would take you to a seagate registration page .
Step 5- here you suppose to give your name and email address and check or skip 2 other steps, by completing these steps click done and vyollaa! u r registered for 3 years seagate india warranty.
Step 6- now you guys can check for your warranty validity on seagate india website, just enter "serial no." and "seagate port no." mentioned on your hard drive or on its packaging and after entering, ur warranty validity will be displayed which is 3 years from the date of purchase.(here u suppose to enter port no. only because providing model no. didn’t work for me)
so here’s the thing guys. no other brand provides as slim HD such as this, I think its the slimmest in it’s category, very portable, great looking premium feel and on top of all reasons.it covers you for 3 long years!
