We brought Seagate 1TB Hard disk last year June from Bangalore Shop(We have the bill). We were not able to connect to any system now because of some head issue. We were said that the hard disk can be replaced since it is an internal issue. But what about the data in it. We were asked to give 12k for recovery seriously? This is the second time we are facing this issue? With 12k we can buy another hard disk. Why are you providing this fake service to us? We trusted Seagate we have some 7 hard disks. 2 are already having these issues. we are losing data. if thats the case why we should buy it from these Seagate guys? Data is really important to us. We are seriously disappointed with Seagate.Is it Seagates Business Tactic to screw harddisk(using some manufacturing defect) and charge double for data recovery?
