I cant believe the trouble that sears.com has been giving me. Been trying to buy a plasma tv to send to my folks in florida. After no delivery the first time, sears.com customer rep had me order the thing 2 MORE3 TIMES!!! and all 3 times they failed to deliver. Of course the elderly folks in Fla were standing buy for days waiting for delivery and are they stressed!. Reasons Sears customer service gave for the problems: (1) your credit card didnt go thru (NOT TRUE... my credit card company approved the charge 3 times and are waiting for charge confirmation on all 3 tries (apparently they wait 3 business days before they free up the funds in the credit line--right now, I have almost $6K tied up!) Sears then said: (2) were out of stock so we cancelled (but no Email notification!!! and ... delivery was always scheduled). As to why they schedule delivery... its automatic and really not real until all else happens successfully. CAN YOu IMAGINE! The customer service superevisor even agreed with this!!! As to what I can now do... they told me to go to sa store and ship it myself!! What about the sale price (sale is over): maybe you can convince the salesman to give you the discount NEVER AGAIN!!! theyre as bunch of idiots ... spread the word.
