Readers are in for a chase!

Another grrrreat book by the queen of mystery!!

In ’’The Secret Adversary’’, Christie introduces a new detective couple: Tommy and Tuppence.

The prologue tells us about a young American, Jane Finn, who is aboard the Lusitania, a ship that was sunk by German submarines during the Second World War. An intelligence member hands over vital papers to her, which ’’could make all the difference to the allies in the War’’, with instructions to hand them over directly to the American Ambassador, in London.

Five years later, the detectives are asked to look for Jane Finn and the secret documents. T

he book is just as good as any other by Agatha Christie. The ingenuity with which she narrates the story is indeed incomparable. The characters are cool..., and the storyline is so good that it proves quite a competition to books by Arthur Conan Doyle.

Well...before I read this book, I never knew what Christie’s story’s are like, it gives the reader a real taste of the mystery and ciphers. You find yourself so much engrossed in the book that you just lose the sense of time. I strongly recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries.

The ’’Hercule Poirot’’ titles by the same author are also equally engaging.

Particularly, this book reminds me of Ken Follett’s ’’Code to Zero’’

Whatever you say fellas....when it comes to ’’The Secret Adversary’’ you are bound to become a great fan of Christie.

Happy Readin’!!!
