We don’t usually watch films in theaters but this one had Aamir Khan and it was interesting concept so we had to go.
Our whole family saw it in the theater.
The story is built around a Muslim girl whose dreams revolve around singing and music is her passion. But her father disapproves of her singing and wants her to study hard and get married soon thereafter. The story shows the struggle and the numerous problems she faces while finally achieving her dream.
The movie has shown some troublesome scenes of domestic violence that women in the society face. It’s a brutal truth. The father is shown very regressive in thinking and he considers women to be a commodity. The women in his life fight back in the end.
Zaira Wasim had done a brilliant job in this film. She is looking very natural. All the actora have done a great job. Except Aamir Khan is looking very uneasy and below average in acting. The role didn’t suit him at all.
Overall, this is the best movie that came out of 2017, in my opinion. Everyone must go and watch it. Your perspective will change.
