I dont know how much of us would like to see a film upon the Indian police force. But watching this film might make a difference as how we look at this whole system within which they enact their duties.
’Sehar’ does not narrate the tale of a few good police officers. It’s a very much realistic life of those few good police officers.
The charaters are real, not just that they came out of some book but have come from real life.
The performance of each of the characters in the film calls for an applause. Especially to watch out Pankaj Kapoor, Sushant Singh (yes the same guy from The legend of Bhagat Singh, Dum, Samay, Matrubhoomi), Suhasini Mulay and offcourse Arshad Warsi.
Without saying much about the story line which is strong, systematic and continously evolves from the railway contracts, gangsterism, extortion, illegal weapons, university politics, politicians of UP.
Honestly its a brilliant film. Please watch it and I am sure you will like the film from the debutante director Kabeer Kaushik as well the music director Daniel B George need an applaud for giving ’Seher’such a realistic look and absolutely fresh music.
