I am writing this review after such an ill-mannered behaviour of fleet executives of selfdrives.in car rental company with me since my first ever booking with them.
I booked Mahindra KUV for 24hours(one day) and paid online for the same.
After reaching there the fleet executive told me about the speed limit for the cars is 80km/hr which was 120km/hr as mentioned on their website at the time of booking and still there(refer to the screenshot attached) and I was shocked to know about such wrong deceived info which is completely different from what is mentioned there on their website.
Not only that, the executive became furious when I asked to change my car with other available one who can be driven till 120km/hr. I asked them to charge extra for the change of ride since I was already late and on the edge to miss that family function, as per my plan I had to come back from punjab to delhi on the very same day and it was impossible with a 80km/hr speed limit of car.
Then that excutive started showing off(which was the sign of complete mismanagement and lack of efficiency in the fleet as well as other employes) about the number of cars they have and still not able to change my ride. he uttered, "250(dhaiso) gadiya hain. kis kis ko ride change krke du mai"
Absence/lack of right infomation on their website lead to such miserable situation where I felt being cheated and they were counting the years since they are into this business of car rentals(typical lala type bunch of people). They have no sence no respect on how to deal with customer.
Somehow after more than half an hour of parliamental discussion with them results in change of ride finally and they offeref me Volkswagon Ameo in place of Mahindra KUV, and that to with not so good condition, stinking inside, dirty seats and mats, dusty dashboard with stepney(spare tyre) punctured.
After returning that car I thought of just giving them another chance and booked another car after 3 days and guess what.? they had surprises for this time as well.
As last time the executive told me about the cars which are bound to 80km/hr speed i.e. Mahindra KUV, TUV Toyota Innova Crysta and Swift Dzire and asked me to enquire for the same before booking next time for the smooth process.
I booked on such terms and he then came up with the same cars named above which have speed boundation of 80km/hr, so I have chosen Honda Amaze this time and called him to check/confirm the booking status, there he told me that Honda Amaze is also bound till speed of 80km/hr.
I felt really bad and irretated caz I called that chap before making the booking and paid for it only after he confirmed for all rest cars except the above named are not bound for 80km/hr of speed.
Now when I asked him the sme question of misguiding the customers then he bluntly replied and forced me to cancel the booking at the same time to avoid additional panelty which was already minimum 20% for the cancellation of booking.
I mailed for the change of ride and he called me back uttering the words in very ill mannered way, "aapki booking cancel kr di hai and aapko gadi nhi mil sakti"
I didnt even cancelled it from my end.
Well my question is not about the lesser limit of speed here, its about providing false information to the customer and misbehaving with them after the booking is done. They act really nonsense and out of conrtol while picking up the car. They are not at all organised with thier team and tasks, infact it seems like they dont have any team, very unprofessional desi types cheating innocent people. They are not able to manage so making excuses to cover their flaws.
Worst experience ever with a bunch of unprofessional people. I am a elite customer of other car rental self driving companies like Zoomcar, Revv and Voler and had really good experiences with them but selfdrives is the worst.
Neither they have any seniors nor the team leader to reach out seeking any help on the issue.
I request you all not to book any car from selfdrives.in they are fraud, never keep their words, showing false information about the speed, cars availability and condition of the vehicle.
Now I am seriously going to file a legal complaint if they fail to provide me with the booked vehicle for the booking date. They are playing with public money and ruining their plans and schedules.
If they continue to be like this only, thenthey will be thrown out of the competitin very soon. no one can tolerate such behavior and arrogance especially in service sector.
