my mom tells me that there are anytime 15 mega serial on air from morning to night.(phew) and I believe that an average tamilian will be watching atleast 10 of them.The common thread of all these serials I believe are done in Marans office .one objective-women in problems.multiply, add , divide but never subtract their problems.rarely one sees male lead dictating the pace of the story
Sun tv being the market leader should try more innovative programming .Jamming the whole day with soaps(of the same curds) is not going to help on the long run. Alteast the serials should have an assortment of different characters from different walks of life.
I think it would be better if Maran calls balachander, suhasini, balumahendra and other great story tellers to sun tv so that the serials have better content so that appeals to much cosmo and younger crowd..
Anyway got to keep watching(eating) till Maran does something Why I say that bcoz mom is not going to change the channel. hi
