My dentist recommended Sensodyne toothpaste to me about a year ago. I have very sensitive teeth and a receding gum above several of my teeth, making it extremely painful to eat anything cold. Ice cream was torture, and I had to give it up(even though it was one of my favorite desserts). There was also an ache in my molars that would come and go, regardless of what I was eating or the temperature. I didnt know how to get it to stop. I explained it all to my dentist, and he recommended Sensodyne with extra fluoride.
At first, I found it a little pricey(when compared to other toothpastes on a budget) and figured it probably wasnt worth it, but eventually the pain got to me and I broke down and bought it. Best decision ever. As soon as I started using it, the ache went away and the spots where my gum has receded no longer hurt. It does leave kind of a funny taste in your mouth and isnt the freshest-tasting, but the effects are well worth buying it. I found that I dont need to use it every day, but that even using it once every few days is enough to prevent the pain from coming back and keep my teeth strong. Since Im not partial to the flavor, I usually use a different toothpaste in the morning and throughout the day, and then use Sensodyne before going to bed every few nights. It works like a charm in keeping my teeth from hurting!
Loved it! Worth for your Bucks Actually!
