In my opinion, the cleansing effect of using this toothpaste is on the overall good. I have used this toothpaste to try and alleviate sensitivity of my teeth and I think, it has paid off. Soon after use, the freshness in the mouth lingers and helps in reducing pain caused by erosion of the enamel of the tooth. But, I feel that this toothpaste should be used only for repair of teeth, and that otherwise you can continue to use, say, Colgate, for daily dental care. On the whole I would recommend Sensodyne to those who experience pain due to sensitivity of teeth, and those who have stopped enjoying their icecreams and other things cold as a result. Also, similar to other products, Sensodyne may have side-effects. If so, discontinue its use and consult a dentist.
