THE K FACTOR.....or VITAMIN K. extremely essential for clotting of blood, and so are EKTAS serials for the clots in our eyes and brains for watching it daily.
Ekta started out with Hum Paanch in Zee under the Balaji Telefilms and went on to Maano Ya Na Maano. I think they were much better than The KKKKKKKKKKKK serials.
Initially Kyunki ....Saas was a nice, family entertainment with the story revolving around Mihir and Tulsi and their immediate family. Same with Kahaani.... Kkusum (hope I spelt that right) Now its all around their children and great grand children.
There are villains and vamps at every new turn in the serial. Theres sexy Mohini (Tasneem) who is a trained vamp from Kumkum, and theres Ansh (Akashdeep) whos taken the training from Kyunki implementing it on Kkusum.
Sudha Chandran......(THE ULTRA PROFESSIONAL VAMP........with noodle strap blouses and the weirdest fashion on planet earth) whos played Ramolla Sikand (Kahin Kissi Roz) and now GK.....i mean Gayatri Kaul in K Street Pali Hill.
OOOOPs...I forgot the Great KOMOLIKA........Man she looks younger than KASAK in KASAUTTII......
I THINK THE ONLY VILLAIN THAT STANDS APART is RISHI GREWAL (Shabeer) from Kahiin To Hoga.
Her characters as she compare them to her parents; never grow old even by looks. Theres Mihir and Rishab Bajaj (Ronit Roy) who look the same in both and yet are supposed to be a grandfather in one serial and a father in the other.
Tulsi looks GODMOTHERLY than a Grandmother, Parvati looks the same old AUNTY. BAAAAAAA still looks 75. PRERNA too looks 30. KKusum looks like Kumuds elder sis.
One great observation BY ME : is that Kashish and Charu from Kahiin To hoga are aptly selected for the role of sisters as they look really similar to each other. GOOD JOB.
The noon has a lil bit of KESAR.......the central character who only has a Constipated grin on her face all the time, while she laughs, cries and mouths her dialogues.
Cmon Ekta.........we need some reality serials. Can you create the magic of FRIENDS or BEVERLY HILLS.......or may be something like our very own HUM LOG and BUNIYAAD.
