I got some promotional membership from Seventymm and I was supposed to get 3 free DVDs; I clearly remember them saying that, which was one of the reasons why I took the membership. Firstly, they said I’d get the DVDs in 2 days, but took over a week to deliver them. Then they brought it only when they came to pick up the DVD I had ordered. When I called them up they said it’s actually 3 movies in a DVD and not 3 DVDs, which is total BS. Then they gave me three choices - one of 3 English movies and 2 of Hindi movies. So, I chose the English combination - The Reader, Chicago, and one I forget.
When the guy came, he got me a combo of Oh My God, Traffic Signal and some third random movie. I asked him to take it back because that was not what I had asked for. This chappy rather cockily tells me I’d be getting the other 2 DVDs as well and I should keep this. But, again no news of the new DVDs.
So, when I got a verification call from Seventymm, after a month and ordering a movie already. Lol. I told her about the issue and she said they wouldn’t give me the other 2 because I’m entitled for only one and they won’t replace it!
Well, I was thinking of extending the services but now I don’t think I would. The services are good otherwise, no doubt. But, this is not right. They should give what they promise. Well, they had waived off the joining fee and deposit making it an easy amount which is why I took the membership, . and for the additional 3 DVDs. Otherwise it didn’t make sense to get this service and not rent it from somewhere else.
