I got a free trial from seventymm through a promotional offer by Cleartrip. I really did not want to subscribe to their services as I did not watch a lot of movies. However since they were offering regional movies, I thought I would give it a try. That, my friends was my biggest mistake. I had to pay a refundable deposit of Rs 349.
I think the membership was for 6 months. I just rented one movie during this period. The subscription was over and I did not want to renew it as I was not interested in it anymore. It was then that my ordeal started. The sales guys would call me repeatedly to renew the subscription. They just would not listen to me. I then requested them to send me the refund cheque for Rs 349.00 which they said would be sent as early as possible. It has been almost a year and almost 30 emails back and forth but I still don’t have my cheque.
The closest I got to receive my cheque was when they gave me the cheque number and the bank where it was issued ( as if it meant anything).
Well, the complete communication between them is funny. I ask them for the cheque and they say it will be delivered in 4 working days. This goes on and on.....
