Seventymm is based on a new concept which came with a bang and yes its literally a BIG B.A.N.G - Bite Anger Nonsense Glitch!
I usually refrain from writing on something which gave me a bad time because I am not at my creative best while writing such reviews. But this time an incident which happened with a friend of mine provoked me enough to come out with this review which I hope you would all appreciate and spread word.
*The Concept
*The concept is something new for India. It is a web-based movie rental service wherein you can order DVDs either through their website or through phone. They usually have a huge database of movies and provide you with the required DVD at your doorsteps at the click of a mouse. Not to mention that they have pick-up facility as well. All these services at the cost of few bucks as monthly rental.
The Reality
But let’s get a clear picture about this now. Its not as rosy as it sounds. Infact, I believe it is a service which is a rose-with-only-thorns. Registering with them is a hassle free process. But after that its harassing. kyu na ho.. bakra to fass gaya.. abb no tension!!
As per my friend’s experience when he ordered his first DVD, it took lots of conversations with the Customer Care Executive to finally get the DVD delivered to his place. A quick glance at it:
Initially my friend was told that they cannot deliver the DVD as his home falls under the non-service area. He asked for a refund and there was a blunt reply - The amount paid is not refundable, Sir.
So, anyway the DVD arrived. My friend thought that they might have figured out something about the non-service area thing and it would be smooth ride now. But the brilliant seventymm team proved him wrong. No one came to pick-up the DVD even after several follow-ups. Eventually, my friend had second round of conversations with the brilliant team of craps. A quick glance at it:
Why are you not coming for the pick-up? - Sir, we already told U that its a non-service area. - What? Then refund?? - Against our policy. - I will file a case. - Lets see if we can do something, Sir. We will call U back within 24 hours. - {no call from them. My friend calls again and had to repeat everything again}.
He has deposited 1000 Rupees which guaranteed a service for 12 months. They gave him a bad time and now he is determined to give them a bad time.
