I’ve been a member for over three years now.
There have been ups and downs in my experience with them. The big plus is that I can get some of the classics only with large rental companies like these. I can’t hope to ever get classics like Casablanca or Mother India from the neighbourhood mom and pop or for that matter from the street side pirate.
The downside up till now was 20 per cent of the time you did not get the movie at the top of the queue. They had some kind of lottery system to decide who got which film.
The uncertainty was a bit of a downer, until now. They have now come up with Get it Now which kills the uncertainty. If the movie you want has seen flagged as available. I can just click it to get it delivered tomorrow.
None of the US rentals seem to have such a feature.
