By a strange coincidence, as I was planning with friends to watch Paa in the cinema during the weekend, I get an SMS that Paa was coming soon on rentals! The weekend plan changed. Two weeks later I watched it at home.
Couple of years ago, movie discussions often ended with’let’s wait for it to be aired on TV. Which would be anything upto 6 months later. And I would invariably miss the opening 15 mins. After signing up with 70mm the wait was reduced to 3 months. The big relief was the absence of commercials. Nowadays it’s down to 4 weeks when you actually get to see a new release.
looks like DVD’s are being released quickly to capitalise on the ad buzz that still lingers. For some reason, Kaminey has not appeared on rentals. Hoping to see 3 idiots soon
