And believe me people, I’M NOT JOKING!
I was a happy customer at their Rental service for about 6 months(I took the subscription after their very frequent tele-harassment to take a subscription) Though there were few glitches in terms of delivery delays otherwise I was happy with their rental service. Within my first subscription period, they made me extend the subscription for another 6 months by putting forward many glorious facts of savings and stuff like that. Immediately after I extended my subscription I started getting calls from their executives telling me that they’re refunding the subscription amount to unsatisfied customers and checking if I am not find their service worthwhile. I denied the offer of cancelling the subscription, not just once but many times when they called up. Then I started getting called telling that they’re shutting down Rental Service and refunding the amount in the form of Shopping Voucher Codes which can be redeemed at their shopping site. I ve actually paid Rs.800 for extending the rental service for 6 months but they gave me a voucher code worth Rs.1500(They told this is because they’re compulsorily closing the subscription.
Alright, at this point they put me through the harassment path. I’ve used that code for purchasing 6 items(DVDs, T-Shirts etc Order ID SMA0052127 dated 1Feb 2012) out of that they delivered 1 correct item and 3 Wrong items and never heard of other 2 items. I have returned all the wrong items delivered but never got replacements except for one. And I got numerous calls from their executives with "adequate solutions" which they had no clue and never helped in any way. They gave me options of making another purchase worth the unavailable items. But even those were not in stock. And finally after a month long battle they suggested me to cancel the order as they’re not in a position to deliver any item as all my replacement order placed from their site are out of stock.(Wonder if they have anything in stock ever) The returned goods were worth Rs.464 and they quoted me a cheque of Rs.198 towards refund. They said refund amount can be only that much since I’ve used coupon code for the purchase. Amazing! I still haven’t received any cheques as well as the pending items from this purchase. Eventually, I ended up paying for Rental, got it cancelled without any re-fund. I never wanted to shop at Seventymm.com considering 2 of my previous experiences, but they forcefully made me purchase items which they’re sure they’re not going to deliver.
From another purchase(Order ID SMA0006468 dated 3Nov 2011) I still havent received 2 items out of 4 which I have ordered.
Another purchase I made(Order ID SMA0053433 dated 2Feb 2012 COD) just to check whether they will deliver and this time Cash On Delivery. They made me cancel this order saying NO STOCK!
Well they’re officially shutdown the Rental Service and heard they’re concentrating on e-Com(or e-Con as they’re doing currently) Don’t expect that these guys meet your expectations! The products are only available in their website not in their warehouse. They’re just operational to extort money from the public.
