70mm - Stay 70 Million Miles Away From It


I have had horrendous experience with 70mm. Not only they are a piece of sh** in rental service, the management, customtakeouter service, site and everything else is total crap.


You will not get movies in time. The successful delivery ratio is 60% only. If you order DVD and do get it every chance it will be VCD or wont run.


Below are the list of issues I faced for multiple months before these guys forced closed my account!

Also to highlight the mismanagement not only in customtakeouter service, the biggest issue lies in how 70mm operates:


I suggest you to overhaul your setup, make people responsible, define their roles and evaluate their performances. System can only be as good or as bad as the people who run it. You guys have much more experience in running such a setup however based on my IT experience of 11 years so far I can atleast predict risk and raise issues from a customtakeouter perspective. The ball lies in your court to rectify the problems.


Take a concrete decision, inform your team on what needs to be done, inform me accordingly rather than creating more confusion.

As per your email, I understand that we have not been able to live up to your expectations of enjoying the rental service provided to you by Seventymm.com.


I have been trying to contact you on your number since morning to discuss and inform you about the cancellation of your account and refund of the balance amount.


The refund amount would be delivered to you vide cheque based on a pro-rata basis calculating only the number of movies that have been delivered to you. Your account was re-activated on 16th February 2010 for a 12 month 1-DVD unlimited plan by paying Rs.2600. Since then there have been 133 movies delivered to you in the 280 calendar days till date(One movie every 2.1 days).


There were 17 disc complaints and 10 delivery delays in the 280 days. If the same is removed, there has been 106 movies delivered till date(One movie every 2.6 days).


On a pro-rata basis, calculating only the number of movies delivered to you on time and in proper condition, the refund amount would be Rs.1752.


This amount would be delivered to you in 7-8 working days.

ON 23RD I ORDERED DHAMAAL AND THE DVD DIDNT WORK COMPLETELY. ALL THE TALKS OF SENDING DISC POST VERIFICATION AND OF GOOD QUALITY DOWN THE DRAIN.


THEN YESTERDAY NO DISC WAS DELIVERED SO A DAY LOST AND TODAY AS WELL NO CONFIRMATION ON DELIVERY EITHER. ANOTHER INSTANCE OF NOT KEEPING THE WORDS.


THE ACCOUNT RENEWAL DATE(17TH FEB) HAS STILL NOT BEEN UPDATED. THAT TOO AFTER SOOO MANY PROMISES BEING MADE.


OMKARA AND SOME OTHER DVDS REALLY NOT IN YOUR COLLECTION SO PLEASE TAKE THEM OUT FROM LISTING. DO ONE THING I CAN RENT YOU MONEY TO BUY THOSE DVDS IF YOU WANT.


IT IS JUST 10 DAYS SINCE THE ACCOUNT GOT RENEWED AND THIS IS GETTING ON MY NERVES.
