I ordered a DVD from seventymm.com almost a month back. I paid through Debit Card and got instant confirmation of the order. I started awaiting delivery but over a week passed and there was no sign of delivery, nor even a mail about the order dispatch. I got anxious and went to the site to track my order. To my surprise I found that I cannot track my order because the’My Account’ section is’under construction’.


Then I called at the customer care number given at the website. It took me about 5-6 calls to be able to talk to their customer care executive because everytime their’customer care executives were busy attending some other customers’. I conveyed the problem to the customer care person, but she said that I had called the wrong department and gave me another number for the sales department. I called at the other number, again after numerous retries I was able to contact the person. To my surprise and irritation, the man asked me to call at the previous number. This thing went on for several times. And now after 27 days of placing the order and having my money deducted from my account, I have neither received the product nor any information about why it hasn’t been shipped, and the helpdesk and my account section at the website are still’under construction’.


Though e-commerce is booming in our country, but it still has an ugly side to it and seventymm.com is its prime example.
