Well I used to watch this show many years back and it is one of my all time favourite show. Sex and the city is modern, bold, hot and sexy, raunchy and at the same time real and entertaining. The show is about 4 modern american women in their 30’s living in 21’st century newyork. It shows their daily life including their professional as well as their personal life, their relationship problems, their work and financial problems, etc. It perfectly shows the various difficulties and complexities faced in every relationship.
It also showcases the sex life of these women and their insecurities and problems relating to sex as well as other important things.It is the first show where problems relating to modern young women are shown in such a realistic manner.
Every women as well as men can easily relate to these show. The script and screenplay of every episode is perfect and is extremely entertaining and engaging. It is the first show where sex life which is a major part in everybody’s life is shown in such an elaborate manner and various problems relating to it is described in the show which is commendable. The direction of the show is brilliant and editing is up to the mark. Dialogues are real and natural. The camerawork is good.
BUt the real reason why this show works is its perfect ensemble cast. Sarah jessica parker has given a superb performancein the role of column writer carrie bradshaw. She is completely natural and charming. Cynthia nixon in the role of lawyer miranda is perfect and she beautifully shows various emotions confidently. Kristin davis is perfect as a shy, sweet and naive girl charlotte.
But the winner of the winners is undoubtedly kim catrall in the role of bold, sexy, boisterous, confident, flirtatious and somewhat nymphomaniac kind of a role. She oozes extreme charm and sensuality in her role and she is a complete natural . A QUITTESSENTIAL SAMANTHA ALWAYS. I recommend everybody whether a man or a woman to watch this show as it is a show of 21’st century and it is bold, real and depicts human sensibilities and his weaknesses perfectly. A show for modern young, open minded and bold people. AN EXCELLENT SHOW AND A MUST WATCH
