We came here after we had a terrible experience with Innovations- designer drapes on St. John’s Rd. We went with measurements for 2 sets of big french windows &3 small french windows. The dimensions were a & b windows - 82 x 104, c window - 85 x 46 & d, e windows - 82 x 38(all for 2 bedrooms windows)
The shop- It’s got a curtain selection area like almost all big stores and amost as much variety in all kinds of budgets.
We selected two curtains at 255mt and 185mt. The owner’s son sat with us explained the costing, made out a bill and said he would send the tailor the same day. The quote was for Rs.9630/-. It rained very heavily that evening and even then the tailor showed up and his measurements were exactly the measurements we took - he did not suggest extra length anywhere. He sat with us after that and worked out the total material and the quote - everything matched what we heard at the store.
The only problem we faced was regarding the delivery date - we kept calling but it took time as they had run out of the material for one of the curtains. They were always apologetic and courteous. It took over a week beyond the date given. The tailor came home with fabric, set up the curtains for us -they were beautiful, all the pleats were perfectly ironed. The final amount was lesser than the quote! How many businesses you know are this honest? We had a great experience and highly recommend this shop:) Even if you do not shop here please read what can go wrong and what you should be careful of in my review of’Innovations-designer drapes’ on st. john’s rd. It really helps to be cautious if you are doing this for the first time and can save you quite a bit of money.
